Anthony David Gonzalez played American football for 17 seasons, as tight-ends within the National Football League. He is one of the NFL's most efficient tight ends as well as the third best overall receivers, he has been named the NFL's leading tight end in terms of yards received, receptions made, etc.
Tony Gonzalez serves as a FOX sports studio analyst on FOX Sports Studio. Gonzalez has been on FOX NFL KICKOFF (FOX's hour-long NFL pregame show prior to FOX NFL the SUNRISE) and is broadcast each Sunday at 11:00 AM ET through the NFL season.
Gonzalez was signed to a contract for The Falcons to run for two seasons and $14 million on March 15 2013. This was despite having stated that Gonzalez previously stated that he was planning to retire at the end of football season of 2013. Following the retirement of Randy Moss, 37-year-old Gonzalez had his final season as the league's top player in receiving yards.
